My True Story

8 11 2008

Started Smoking at the age of 16. A pack of 20 a day at the age of twenty then 25 a day at thirty and just last year I was smoking over 30 smokes a day.

One of the hardest things about giving up smoking was not the fear of what might happen during giving up nor the cost but it was simply that I would have to look back on all the years I had smoked and try and justify why I did.

That being said I faced that demon and researched the hell out of the topic ” How to stop smoking” as painless as is possible.

I found it.

I completed the program and so did my wife and I am happy to say we are both non-smokers and have been since April 2008.

Why am I sharing this. The program I used does not require you to pay for aids, patches, drugs or anything actually. It worked because it really is so simple and anyone, yes anyone no matter how long they have smoked could complete this program and stop smoking forever.

I am not going to push the program here but will happily tell you where to go to find it.

Just click the picture if you are ready to stop smoking.

If you have a better way to stop smoking I am sure more readers would love to hear about it or have you had experience with the program I used? I would be glad to hear your positive comments here. I say positive because I did use the program and the only way it could not work for someone was for them to not follow it 100%.

If you feel smoking is fine and wish to share a comment on that then please do on our ” I Love Smoking Page “

If you hate smoking and wish to express that then please go to our ” I Hate Smoking “

Two Whys to Quit Smoking

7 11 2008

Now Actually there are probably thousands of reasons to quit smoking if you take the time to think of them, but there are two reasons that are more important than the rest.

The first reason to quit is for your health.

A smoker inhales on the cigarette and takes harmful substances into the lungs. The substances harm not only the lungs but all of the organs of the body. Think about the parts of the mouth – the tongue, the teeth, the lips. All of these parts of the body are hurt. This is why everyone should quit smoking. The teeth become yellow as the smoke from the cigarette passes over them on the way toward the lungs. The gums that hold the teeth are also damaged by the harmful ingredients in the smoke inhaled by a smoker.

The second reason, expense.

Calculate the cost to a person that smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. Smoking could cost this person fifteen hundred dollars or more a year for this habit that also ruins the health of the smoker. The heavy cost of cigarettes is why everyone should quit smoking. There are other costs for smokers besides the cigarettes. Smokers have to have their teeth cleaned more often and this is expensive. As noted before, there are probably many reasons why you should quit smoking, but the expense is second only to health. Smokers also have more health problems and these problems can cost more money.
