The first reason to quit is for your health. A smoker inhales on the cigarette and takes harmful substances into the lungs. The substances harm not only the lungs but all of the organs of the body. Think about the parts of the mouth – the tongue, the teeth, the lips. All of these parts of the body are hurt. This is why everyone should quit smoking. The teeth become yellow as the smoke from the cigarette passes over them on the way toward the lungs. The gums that hold the teeth are also damaged by the harmful ingredients in the smoke inhaled by a smoker.
